Ninety subjects diagnosed with chronic generalized gingivitis were randomly assigned into three groups.Triphala mouthwash was found to decrease the inflammatory parameters. Improvement in gingivitis was comparable to that of Chlorhexidine mouthwash. Here is the link to the study:
